3d Trilogyice Laser Hair Removal

Laser Hair Removal Fordingbridge Ringwood Salisbury Hampshire

The Trilogyice from 3D combines the proven benefits of three wavelengths, achieving maximum results and versatility when compared to a single wavelength. It simultaneously targets different tissue depths as well as anatomical structures within the hair follicle. This is suitable for all but the darkest of skin types (Fitzpatrick scale of 5) and can be used practically anywhere that you have unwanted hair.

The 3D Trilogyice hair removal employs volumetric heating of the dermal tissue. The heat will alter the stem cell function of the hair. The fluence of each pulse is delivered at low power and the pulses are delivered rapidly to collectively heat the dermal tissue and thermally injure the hair follicle.

The melanin content in the hair attracts the pulses to conduct the heat - raising the temperature of the follicle above the temperature of the dermal tissue, resulting in permanent hair reduction.

During treatment the hand piece will be used in a gliding motion, backwards and forwards over the skin. You may experience a warming sensation in addition to some hot prickling. The contact cooling system, which can be increased, ensures a virtually pain free and effective hair reduction.

The typical time taken per treatment varies according to the area being treated but ranges from 15 minutes for upper lip to 60 minutes for full legs.

6-8 treatments are recommended (dependent on site) followed by maintenance treatments every 6 months.
Face, under arm and bikini - treat every 4 weeks.
Arms, legs and torso - treat every 6 weeks.

HIFU

non-surgical facelift Fordingbridge Ringwood Salisbury Hampshire

non-surgical facelift Fordingbridge Ringwood Salisbury Hampshire

HIFU Face

3D-HIFU Face is the latest non-surgical facelift treatment using high intensity focused ultrasound to both lift and tighten loose or sagging skin on the neck and face without any downtime.

The HIFU focuses energy to stimulate the deep support layers of the skin without causing any damage to the skin surface. The treatment stimulates the growth of new collagen resulting in a lifted, firmer, and more toned appearance of the skin.

Results will develop over the course of 2-3 months with some clients experiencing continued improvements for up to six months. Whilst HIFU will not give such a drastic and instant result as a surgical intervention, it is an exciting alternative for those clients who do not wish to undergo invasive surgery.

3D HIFU is the only treatment that can specifically target the deep foundation supporting the skin, like that of cosmetic surgery, but without cutting and scarring the surface of the skin.

A good candidate for HIFU Face is someone with skin that has relaxed to the point of being less firm. Typically those in their thirties and older who have mild to moderate skin laxity. You are welcome to book a free consultation if you are unsure.

A full face and neck treatment would take up to 2 hours and 30 minutes, whilst a partial face treatment can take around 1 hour. There is absolutely no downtime following treatment. We simply advise you to drink plenty of water and avoid heat for 24 hours.

The procedure can feel uncomfortable during the treatment. This is a result of the concentrated energy heating the deep dermal layers under the skin. This discomfort is short lived and is a reassuring sign that the collagen restructuring process has started. Sometimes an ache in the bony areas of the face can continue into the next day.

Your face will feel tight and there may be some redness for an hour or so post treatment. A few clients notice some swelling and tingling but this is usually very mild and temporary in nature and is quite a rare side effect.

So why should you consider HIFU Face?

  • No downtime
  • Minimal discomfort
  • Endorsed by surgeons as a safe alternative to surgery
  • Low cost alternative to surgery
  • Fantastic results
You would need to come for a patch test at least 48 hours before your procedure to make sure your skin has no adverse reactions.

Contraindications

  • Pregnancy
  • Cardiac conditions and pacemakers
  • Anticoagulant medication
  • History of cancer
  • Metal implants in the area
  • Diabetes
  • Epilepsy
  • Auto immune conditions
  • Fragile, excessively dry, active acne sor infected skin in treatment area
  • Keloid scarring
  • Regular anti-inflammatory medication (Naproxen, Voltarol, Ibuprofen)
  • Skin cancer lesions

Our prices are as follows:

  • Forehead and eye area – 45 mins: £300
  • Cheeks and lower jaw – 60 mins: £300
  • Neck and lower jaw - 60 mins: £300
  • Full face and neck - 2.5 hrs: £849

HIFU Body

HIFU is used to target specific focused areas of body fat in the fastest possible treatment time.

This technology works by delivering focused energy to a depth of 13mm and 7mm to destroy fat cells. The high frequency of the ultrasound wave results in heating under the skin, effectively destroying the fat cells and tightening the skin in the area treated. The damaged cells are then eliminated from the body via the natural waste removal process through the lymphatic system, and that continues for up to 3 months.

This treatment is great for busting those stubborn pockets of unwanted fat. Recommended areas for treatment are typically: abdomen, flanks, hips, thighs and buttocks.

The appointment will take approximately 30-60 minutes depending on the area being treated. This is a one-off treatment and results can be seen from 2-4 months post treatment.

There is no downtime. You can return to your normal activities straight away, and there is no special aftercare that you need to undertake. We just advise you to drink plenty of water and to avoid heat for 24 hours.

Prices are from £300.

spider vein removal Fordingbridge Ringwood Salisbury Hampshire

ThermaVein

ThermaVein® offers the instant, safe and permanent treatment for red veins often referred to as thread veins or spider veins and medically referred to as "telangiectasia". ThermaVein® delivers a fast and effective walk in walk out total solution for the treatment of red veins and vascular blemishes

Red veins are cosmetically unsightly and are too fine to be treated in the same way as larger veins.

Our ThermaVein® thermo-coagulation device offers a complete solution, is a totally safe treatment, is clinically proven and is permanent.

Equipped with a polarisation light system the practitioner introduces a fine needle over the vein and in most cases it disappears instantaneously. There is no breaking of the skin, or wound of any sort and no down time.

Following treatment, the skin will be red and feel warm. In most cases redness will calm down within the day, depending on skin type. There may be slight redness in the skin surrounding the treated vein for a few days, but this can be longer. The skin may also be dry and have small crusts. The vessel will gradually fade and will be taken away by the body. Further treatments on the face can be carried out after 28 days.

Unlike IPL and Lasers, ThermaVein® cannot cause loss of pigmentation. It treats red spots, a variety of vascular blemishes and troublesome red veins on both men and women. The sterile 'needle', for single use, is covered with an insulating sheath which protects the skin, enabling a targeted action, delivering the treatment with precision.

Treatment time is a maximum of 15 minutes and will cost £200 per session. Most problem areas can be treated in one session and the result is permanent.

If a second treatment is required after 28 days has elapsed a 'top up' price for a second treatment is from just £50 depending on size of area.

It is also possible to remove warts, skin tags and milia spots with this device. Price for milia/skin tags is from £50.

ThermaVein thermocoagulation is contra-indicated in patients who:

  • Suffer from infectious skin conditions
  • Are pregnant
  • Are epileptic
  • Have a pacemaker
  • Take anti-coagulants
  • Have fake tan product on the skin

Benign Skin Lesion Removal with Cryopen

Benign Skin Lesion Removal Fordingbridge Ringwood Salisbury Hampshire

Cryosurgery is an advanced freezing innovation that is fast, effective and safe for the removal of benign skin lesions on the face and body.

The Cryopen device delivers an ultracold jet of high-pressure nitrous oxide on to skin lesions. The nitrous oxide destroys the skin tissue by freezing the intercellular fluid and forming ice shards that rupture the cells membrane, destroying the cells.

Cryopen can treat all common skin lesions in seconds including verrucae, skin tags, solar lentigo, pigmented spots, actinic (solar) keratoses, seborrheic keratoses, haemangioma, molluscum contagiosum, condyloma, plantar warts and more.

There is minimal aftercare downtime. The lesion will go through different stages before dropping or peeling off.

We may need to ask you to seek confirmation from your GP of your appropriateness for treatment, depending on the history and type of lesion you have.

Treatment Prices

Up to 5 lesions each no larger than 5mm in diameter - £50

Add £20 for more than 5 in the same treatment..

It's unlikely that we would treat more than this number in one visit. The number any therapist is happy to treat can only be decided at consultation and depends on the type, size and site of the lesions. Some lesions may need more than one treatment.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive, skin resurfacing procedure that gently exfoliates or polishes away the top layer of dead skin cells, while stimulating collagen growth, to reveal healthy new skin that looks and feels smoother. Fine lines, blemishes, dull skin and sun spots can be improved, especially with regular treatments. Products such as active serums and moisturizers are more easily absorbed and therefore more effective after microdermabrasion treatment. This is a painless, low-risk skin treatment that can enhance your beauty routine.

It is safe to have weekly treatments or you may choose to start with weekly sessions prior to maintaining monthly treatments to keep your skin looking and feeling amazing.

Combining Microdermabrasion with no-needle mesotherapy is the ultimate treat for your skin, and if you choose our platinum package you can get the added benefit of LED light therapy.

No Needle Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a technique that stimulates the skin tissues by using superficial injections of ingredients found naturally in the skin such as hyaluronic acid, vitamins, minerals and co-enzymes. However, if, for any reason, you want the benefits of this treatment without the discomfort or risk associated with multiple injections into your face, there is a viable alternative.

Here at Kalista we can offer you the no needle alternative. Electroporation is created using a device which utilizes a low frequency current and ultrasound. The intensity is adjusted to deliver a particular waveform which ionizes the molecules in the active ingredients used in the treatments, and this creates small channels in the skin for the ingredients to fully penetrate.

This treatment aids several different skin conditions, and all skin types can benefit. There is no downtime or unwanted side effects and can be performed weekly.

It is highly recommended that you combine this treatment with the microdermabrasion to enable optimal penetration and maximum benefit. However, a home exfoliation is a reasonable alternative prior to your appointment.

Following an assessment of your skin we will select one of the following power solutions from the Genosys range:

  • AWS - anti wrinkle solution
  • SWS - skin depigmenting and whitening solution
  • PCS - problem control solution (acne prone skin)
  • CTS - cytokine concentrated solution (Scar improvement)
We can also offer you the addition of an eye treatment using the same technology. We will then apply the Genosys eye serum, followed by the peptide eye patch before applying the full face collagen mask. This can stay in place while we apply the LED for 10 minutes, followed by 10 minutes of mask free LED.

Finally, your therapist will select the appropriate cream and finish with a short massage.

Microneedling

Microneedling is a skin-rejuvenating procedure where an automated pen device with a cartridge of 16 tiny sterile needles is used to create tiny puncture wounds in the superficial layers of the skin. This causes the release of growth factors which, in turn, stimulates the fibroblasts to create new collagen and elastin as part of the natural healing process. You might also hear it called collagen induction therapy.

Here at Kalista, we select a power solution from one of the 5 from our Genosys range and apply to the skin prior to the procedure.

  • AWS - anti wrinkle solution
  • SWS - skin depigmenting and whitening solution
  • PCS - problem control solution (acne prone skin)
  • HES - volume enhancing solution (improving skin firmness and elasticity)
  • CTS - cytokine concentrated solution (Scar improvement)

The microchannels formed allow the active ingredients to be absorbed into the skin layers much more efficiently.

Microneedling may help with issues like:

  • Acne scarring
  • Dark spots or patches on your skin (hyperpigmentation)
  • Large pores
  • Reduced skin elasticity
  • Scars
  • Stretch marks anywhere on the body
  • Sun damage
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
Microneedling can be repeated every 4 weeks. A course of 3 - 6 treatments is recommended depending on your skin condition.

Treatment time is approximately 1 hour and costs £150:
  • Cleanse
  • Tone
  • Microneedling with relevant power solution
  • Collagen or Aloe mask
  • LED therapy 20 minutes

  • Soothing cream and SPF

EPN Microneedling with Electroporation

EPN Microneedling Fordingbridge Ringwood Salisbury Hampshire

EPN PEN offers a unique combination of the latest clinically proven technologies for face and body treatments. Microneedling and Electroporation come together to give maximum results - illuminating and brightening the skin whilst reducing the common signs of ageing.

How does Microneedling and Electroporation work?

Ultra-fine needles penetrate the skin at different depths, creating micro-channels which stimulate a wound healing response. This leads to the production of new collagen and elastin. Once the micro-channels have been created, the Electroporation technology releases electro stimulating pulses to increase the permeability of the skin cell membrane. This allows for increased absorption of serums applied to the skin, for hydrated, healthy skin.

Microneedling combined with Electroporation significantly increases the amount of serum delivered to the skin compared with traditional Microneedling treatments.

Can Microneedling and Electroporation be used on clients of all ages?

Yes, younger skin that doesn't require lifting and tightening can benefit from Microneedling and Electroporation. Treatments can focus on specific concerns, such as enlarged pores or uneven skin texture, to improve the overall skin quality.

How does the treatment feel?

During the treatment there is generally minimal discomfort. Topical anaesthetic is recommended for clients should they wish to apply it prior to the treatment, but a patch test to check for sensitivity is required.

Celluma LED Phototherapy

We can add LED therapy to any of our facial treatments, and the programme can be set to address your specific skin concerns.

Blue, red and near-infrared are the most commonly used wavelengths in LED phototherapy. These specific wavelengths are well researched and scientifically proven to produce therapeutic benefits.

Blue penetrates through the epidermis and is known to kill P.acnes bacteria.

Red penetrates into the dermal layer and has been shown to enhance collagen and elastin production through photo-biostimulation of fibroblasts.

Using LED after any of our anti-aging treatment facials will enhance the effects, especially when combined with a course of treatments such as Microneedling or microdermabrasion with no needle mesotherapy.

Go ahead and treat yourself to this lovely feel good therapy. You will come away feeling revitalised and relaxed, and your skin will glow with gratitude.

Skin Peels

Chemical Skin Peels
Chemical Skin Peels harness the power of naturally occurring acids and active ingredients to deeply exfoliate and brighten the skin. The treatment stimulates new cell growth and collagen production, helping to reveal fresher, clearer, brighter skin.

Peels are designed to exfoliate your skin and encourage it to renew itself by creating fresh new skin cells. They also stimulate the skin's natural collagen production to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Skin peel treatments use acids and enzymes to exfoliate away layers of the skin to reveal fresher, clearer, more youthful looking skin beneath the surface.

The powerful blend of ingredients in skin peels work to reduce the appearance of open pores, remove dead skin cells, target blemishes, acne and pigmentation, and visibly smooth fine lines and wrinkles.

Here at Kalista in Fordingbridge we offer three different skin peels. The skin renewal system is a very mild peel made up of a combination of naturally occurring acids and is offered with a lovely peptide mask to complete the treatment. This is a great starting point for those who are new to skin peels.

The Glycolic 40% peel is a little stronger but is buffered with arnica and chamomile which makes it very easy to tolerate. This is the one we recommend for treating acne, as well as fine lines and wrinkles.

The third option is specifically for the treatment and management of hyperpigmentation and melasma, and the best results are achieved with our 6 week programme combining it with two Microneedling treatments.

If you are looking to improve the appearance of your skin and kick start your pledge to really step up your skin care, then Peels are a great way to begin.

Try alternating this with Microneedling to really see a difference in the appearance of your skin. Both your epidermis (outer layer) and dermis (deeper layer) will be well catered for.

Skin Renewal Peeling System
Skin Peels Fordingbridge Ringwood Salisbury Hampshire

This is a mild chemical skin peeling treatment for treating fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, uneven skin tone and texture. A peel is applied to remove the dead skin cells on the surface of your skin and stimulate the renewal of new cells.

If you want a quick facial treatment to freshen the appearance of your skin - this is the one. It can also be applied prior to Microneedling for maximum rejuvenation.

The treatment takes just 40 minutes - £45

  • Cleanse
  • Tone
  • Application of peel
  • Peptide mask for 10 minutes
  • Cream and SPF
  • Add 20 minutes of LED phototherapy for £20

Glycolic 40% Facial Peel

The Glycolic 40% Facial Peel is safe, effective, and non-irritating, but it is a step up from the SRS peel above and requires a certified practitioner to apply.

There are many grades of facial peel, some require recuperation as the outer layer visibly peels over several days and can be quite painful. This Peel is superficial in comparison, and whilst you will need to take special care of your skin, there is no real 'down' time and make-up can be worn 24 hours later.

It is designed to remove the build-up of dead cells that cause a dull complexion and blocked pores. This will leave you with a lovely clean canvas that will readily absorb your active serums and moisturisers giving you more skin benefits from your homecare routine. Your skin will look and feel beautifully smooth, and you will be left with a healthy glow.

This peel can be applied over skin with active acne to help relieve blocked pores and treat the acne bacteria. Combine this with LED blue and red light therapy to manage an acne flare up and reduce the associated inflammation. Problem Control Serum (PCS) and Cream are also available for homecare treatment.

We recommend a weekly peel for 4 weeks for anyone starting out with facial treatments. They can then be maintained monthly and combined with collagen induction facials such as Microneedling or No-needle Mesotherapy (but not on the same day).

Peels can then be done fortnightly or monthly for maintenance.

Lynton Lumina Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)

Lynton Lumina Intense Pulsed Light Fordingbridge Ringwood Salisbury Hampshire

The Lynton Lumina Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a medical grade device used in the NHS and Aesthetic Clinics across the globe.

We can utilise this technology to offer a solution for all the visible signs of ageing caused by sun damage, including brown spots (pigmentation), redness (thread veins and rosacea), uneven skin texture, lines, and wrinkles.

We can also do permanent hair removal with this device, so it offers us the versatility to switch treatments for intimate areas, or for facial hair that sometimes requires more precision than our current laser can achieve.

Skin Rejuvenation - Lumina IPL

How does light-assisted skin rejuvenation work?

Pulses of light are emitted to target skin discolouration and create a more youthful, even complexion. In addition, the light energy stimulates the fibroblast cells, leading to increased production of new collagen and elastin. This improves the texture of the skin, evening out lumps and bumps whilst reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

What does the treatment feel like?

Treatment can be mildly uncomfortable, but no anaesthesia is required. Most people describe the discomfort as moderate and acceptable, not unlike a quick pinprick. You will also experience a warm sensation.

How many sessions will I need?

Results can be seen after just a few treatments. However, a minimum of 3 and up to 6 sessions are recommended depending on your skin concerns. Treatments are carried out every 4 to 6 weeks. Following your course of treatments, top-up sessions are performed as required, usually once or twice a year.

Who is suitable for treatment?

Most people are suitable for treatment. We recommend a consultation with one of our Nurses to ascertain if the treatment will be successful for you.

Cost:

  • £125 per treatment for half face
  • £150 for full face
  • £175 for face and neck
  • £200 face, neck, and chest

Pigmentation - Lumina IPL
Lynton Lumina Intense Pulsed Light Fordingbridge Ringwood Salisbury Hampshire

Pigmented lesions, such as sunspots, age spots and freckles, that are caused by sun damage can be successfully removed, creating a more flawless appearance.

How does pigmentation removal work?

Short pulses of light are released and are readily absorbed by the high concentration of melanin found within pigmented lesions. The rapid absorption of light energy heats the melanin and causes the destruction of the melanin-rich cells. This triggers the body's natural healing process to stimulate the growth of new, healthy skin tissue.

What does an IPL treatment feel like?

Most patients describe the discomfort as mild and tolerable, and no anaesthesia is required.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions will depend on the type and size of the pigmented lesion, but typically a minimum of 3 and up to 6 sessions are recommended.

Large, dark, mottled or raised pigmentation cannot be treated and may need to be checked by a dermatologist. Large, dark moles should not be treated, nor should lesions covering a large part of the body. The pigmented marks that respond the best are superficial lesions such as those caused by sun damage (sunspots, age spots) and freckles.

Cost:

  • From £75 per treatment for a single lesion

After just 3 treatments of IPL with Trifruit acid peel.

Combat inflammation, and reduce the severity and frequency of breakouts, whilst also diminishing redness and pigmentation.

How does the laser treatment work?

Light emitted directly targets the overactive sebaceous glands, greatly reducing the total number and severity of active lesions. This lessens inflammation and the frequency of breakouts. The light stimulates the production of new collagen to improve skin texture and scarring and can also reduce the appearance of red or brown areas of skin that are often associated with acne breakouts.

What does the treatment feel like?

Treatment is mildly uncomfortable but there is no need for anaesthesia and the procedure is actually quite quick. Sensations vary but most people describe the treatment as feeling like a very quick, hot pinprick.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions required varies from client to client and is dependent on many factors. Though results can be seen after a few treatments, a minimum of 4 and up to 8 treatments, at 4 week intervals, deliver the best results.

Who is suitable for treatment?

Almost everyone can be treated, apart from tanned individuals. If you are pregnant or taking Roaccutane (an acne medication) it is best not to undergo treatment until you have been off the medication for a minimum of 6 months.

Cost:

  • From £95 per treatment (half face)
  • Up to £250 for a full back per treatment

There is a student discount of 15%.

Fungal Nail - Lumina IPL uses laser light to destroy fungus
Lynton Lumina Intense Pulsed Light Fordingbridge Ringwood Salisbury Hampshire

How does the laser work?

Light is absorbed by the water in the skin underneath and around the nail, creating heat. This heat helps to destroy the dermatophytes and eliminate the fungal infection. The laser applicator is placed on the nail and a short pulse of light is released. The entire nail bed and nail matrix is then treated in this way.

What does a laser treatment feel like?

A warm sensation and some discomfort is felt during treatment. However, skin cooling can be used to make treatment as comfortable as possible.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of treatments required varies, although typically 3-6 treatments are needed for optimum results. These results become apparent as the nail grows out. Due to the slow rate of toenail growth, it may take several months for the results to be seen.

At Kalista we now offer body massage based on traditional Swedish Massage techniques to help you unwind from the world, relax, and release tension and stress.

Swedish massage is a whole-body therapeutic massage treatment that works on the soft tissues and muscles to help restore health - creating a calming and balancing effect on the nervous system. Designed to improve your circulation, soothe your muscles, and make you feel more relaxed.

Unlike deep tissue massage, Swedish massage therapy uses softer strokes on the bonier and more delicate parts of the body, and stronger strokes where there is thicker muscle coverage. This adjustment of pressure makes it an ideal massage for relaxation.

Best known for soothing tight muscles and boosting well-being, massage also offers a whole host of other health benefits, including:

  • Easing muscular strain by flushing out toxins
  • Improving blood circulation and blood flow throughout the body
  • Helping to keep ligaments and tendons supple and improving range of motion
  • Reducing emotional and physical stress
  • Easing back pain and chronic pain

We offer Full Body Massage, back, neck shoulders and scalp, or for clients with mobility problems or those who cannot lie flat we offer a hands, feet shoulders and scalp massage in a seated position.

Add in our Celluma LED Near Infrared light treatment at the end of the massage for further benefits.

Light Emitting Diode (LED) phototherapy is the application of light energy to tissue to obtain therapeutic benefits. The energy is used to improve cellular performance. Phototherapy is known for its healing and anti-inflammatory properties and has a variety of applications across many medical fields. Research has shown that phototherapy can: increase circulation, accelerate tissue repair, kill acne bacteria, decrease inflammation, improve skin tone, texture and clarity, reduce and ease muscle and joint pain, stiffness, spasm and arthritis.
